Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery

Announce was briefed to support Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery with the launch of their redesigned Jewellery Centre in Hertfordshire. With our support, the launch was covered across a range of regional press, jewellery press and bridal media resulting in editorial coverage for the launch. 

Objective:

To generate widespread editorial coverage in a range of sectors including regional, jewellery and 

bridal, to increase footfall and bespoke jewellery commissions. 

 

How did we do it?

The launch strategy focused on the new Jewellery Centre as the UK’s first bespoke engagement ring design centre, offering a bespoke design service as well as a landscaped jewellery themed garden, new coffee shop, goldsmiths’ viewing area and ready to wear jewellery. 

 

Announce targeted media in a range of sectors inviting them to an exclusive launch event and press preview prior to the public opening. Journalists listened to an speech by Harriet Kelsall and had the opportunity to tour the new Jewellery Centre as well as interview Harriet on a one-to-one basis. 

 

Following the press preview, a public launch event was held, coinciding with the jewellery company’s annual charity event, and further opportunity for editorial coverage. 

 

Results

The press launch event was attended by eight journalists including BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, London Bride magazine, Professional Jeweller and Herts, Cambs and Beds Bride. The press release and images from the event were sent out to a wider range of media after the event. 

 

Editorial coverage was achieved in a range of regional and jewellery titles including BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire Advertiser, Hertfordshire Business Independent, Professional Jeweller, Retail Jeweller and Retail Focus.
